How it works

We take the good slice. Your skip contractor takes the rest.

ReSpec is not a waste company. We recover only what can still be sold as furniture, show the new finish, then make it in Perth.

  1. 01

    Enquire

You, your architect, or your removalist. A floor coming out, or a counter that has to stay.

  2. 02

    Recover

We take only what can go on a drawing. The rest stays for the usual skip.

  3. 03

    Preview

A finish family, fabric or overlay on the real piece. Recovered material varies — we say so.

  4. 04

    Make

Quoted, then made in Perth. Konduct overlays where specified.

  5. 05

    Record

Photos, counts, and weights when we have them — for your sustainability schedule.

Cost

Collection is a recovery fee. Making is quoted after the preview.

The recovery fee is the labour of taking the good slice — typically in the same range as moving that furniture. Your usual contractor still takes the rest. We do not promise the leftover skip will be cheaper.

Making is quoted after the preview, plus Konduct overlays where you specify them — wet-area faces, wallpaper, recut rug, contract fabric. The carcass may already be on site. Specified does not mean free.

Time

Two to four weeks, if the finishes are here.

That is the fight with laminate on backorder. Up to six weeks if fabric is incoming. We only promise the date we quote.

From site

If it cannot go on a drawing, it stays.

We recover

  • Desktops and worktops — square, dry, close to a usable size
  • Screens — frame sound (fabric can be replaced)
  • Commercial chairs — base and lift sound
  • Joinery carcasses — dry and square
  • A feature piece, if it has a job waiting

We leave

  • Wet, mould, infestation
  • Swollen or collapsed board
  • Unknown adhesives or older treated timber
  • E-waste, locked pedestals, anything holding data
  • Residential sofas — not this programme
  • Anything we cannot put on a drawing this week
